Shipping can be complicated. We answer tracking related questions here.
When you place an order with us, we begin to package your collection kit immediately. When orders are placed before 12 pm Central Time on a business day, we ship those kits out the same day. For orders placed after 12 pm, we ship the next day. For orders placed over the weekend, we ship first thing on Monday morning.
We typically utilize USPS shipping so your kit will arrive within 5-7 business days.
We utilize UPS Priority 2-day return shipping to avoid sample expiration in transit which provides a fast return path back to our labs, and well within our expiration period.
When using our kit, you should always ship your sample on the same day as the collection. We also recommend not collecting your sample over Federal Holiday periods to minimize the risk of any delays.
Note: Samples should be sent as soon as possible after collection but will remain stable under average shipping conditions, including over weekends and holidays.
Most test kits contain a UPS or US Postal Service return label for sample returns within the US. Testers may choose to purchase an alternate form of shipping at their own expense.
Yes, we have designed multilayer packaging and our collection devices help the sample remain stable at ambient temperatures for up to 14 days. We also inspect the sample to make sure it's fine before testing to ensure accurate results. If your sample has any degradation and cannot be tested, we will notify you and reship you a new test.
We have tested our sample stability to 110 degrees Fahrenheit with no degradation. We have designed multilayer packaging and our collection devices to help the sample remain stable. However, we would recommend you drop your package off to the brick and mortar UPS location instead of a drop off box if the temperature that day is over 90 degrees.
Our laboratory partners also inspect the sample to make sure it's fine before testing to ensure accurate results. If your sample has any degradation and cannot be tested, we will notify you and reship you a new test.
We include a UPS 2-day return shipping label and envelope with your Nimbus test. Once you complete collecting your sample, put the sample back in the imaware box and then into the return envelope. Seal the envelope, then drop off the return package at your nearest UPS location.
If you do not have a UPS store nearby to drop off your sample, many CVS stores allow UPS packages to be dropped off. Find your nearest drop-off location here. Please note that we discourage the use of dropboxes due to unpredictable shipping times.
If you still need assistance with sending your sample back to the laboratory, we’re happy to arrange a UPS pick up with at least 1 business day notice.
